15. Refund Requests

The Refund Request section allows students to monitor and manage all submitted refund claims directly from the student dashboard.

This module provides full transparency for:

  • Pending refund requests
  • Approved refunds
  • Rejected claims
  • Canceled requests
  • Refund processing updates

Students can easily review the status of their financial requests and track refund activity in real time.


15.1. Accessing Refund Requests

To open your refund history:

  1. Login to your Student Dashboard.
  2. Locate the left sidebar menu.
  3. Click on Refund Request.

This section displays all previously submitted refund claims.


15.1.1. Refund Request Dashboard Overview

If you have submitted refund requests, they will appear in a structured table. If no requests exist, the system will display a message stating: "There are no refund requests."

15.2. Understanding Refund Statuses

Each refund request contains a real-time processing status to keep you informed.

15.2.1. Viewing Refund Details

To view complete refund information:

  1. Locate the desired refund request.
  2. Click the Eye Icon inside the Action column.

Students can review:

  • Refund amount & Transaction information
  • Refund reason & Submission timestamps
  • Course or class details
  • Processing updates

15.2.2. Searching & Filtering

The Refund Request page includes built-in tools to help you find specific records quickly.

Use the search field to locate requests using:

  • Tutor name
  • Subject or Group class title
  • Course title

Entries & Pagination

  • Show Entries: Adjust the number of visible records (e.g., 10, 25, or 50 entries).
  • Pagination: Navigate between multiple pages of requests using the controls at the bottom of the table.

15.3. How Refund Requests Are Created

Refund Submission Information The Refund Request page is used only for monitoring and tracking existing submissions. You cannot start a new request from this page.

To create a refund request:

  1. Navigate to My Transactions.
  2. Select a completed payment.
  3. Open Payment Detail.
  4. Submit the refund request form.

After submission, the request automatically appears inside the Refund Request section.


15.3.1. Refund Review Process

Refund requests are manually reviewed by the support and finance team. The process may include:

  • Payment and transaction verification.
  • Session attendance and tutor confirmation.
  • Platform policy validation.
  • Technical issue investigation.

15.3.2. Common Refund Reasons

  • Tutor absence or session cancellation.
  • Technical platform issues.
  • Duplicate payments or incorrect bookings.
  • Unavailable class access.

15.3.3. Processing Time

Processing times vary depending on your payment gateway, bank processing speed, and the payment method used.

Pro Tip Check the Status column regularly. Once a request changes to Approved, the refund process has been initiated by the platform.


15.3.4. Important Notes

  • Ensure refund requests contain accurate reasons.
  • Provide supporting information/screenshots where necessary.
  • Submitting false or duplicate requests may delay processing.
